February 1, 2008

My snowbaby. Took DS out in the snow for a few shots this afternoon. Say goodbye to the shaggy Abercrombie hair-my little man hid with a pair of scissors this evening, and chopped his bangs off. So, we're headed to get a short, punky style tomorrow.

85mm. ss 400-800, f/2.5-4.0, ISO 100.

Catching snowflakes on his tongue...

And a horizontal shot, to keep on theme.

These are fabulous sweetie! The close up of him just cracks me up!! As does the snowflake on the tongue! Totally something Yums does with rain!! Technically speaking, your focus is dead on and your snow is SO white! LOVE it!!

Wait Wait Wait. We got to see the pictures of his bangs chopped off! LOL Really though, these are awesome! My kids are so jealous of all the snow. They have never even seen anything like that.

He is so sweet and yet to mischevious! Scissors, huh. I think every kid does that at least once!

I love the shot of him catching snowflakes on his tongue... so classic!

These are really nice. I like the one with his tounge catching flakes. Will we be seeing before and after photos of his bangs. All my kids tried to cut thier hair at one time or another. I just hated it when my dd did it right before The Nutcracker when her hair was suppose to go in a bun

What great shots. That coat in the snow just makes for the most interesting colors. I had a favorite picked about 4 times. I love them all. But.... #3 & the one with the tongue sticking out have to be my favorite by a smidge.

I love all of them...He has such great expressions on his face. My fav though is the last one where he is actually running away.

And I want to thank you SO much for the info about the eye technique you have. I have been redoing some photos and I can't believe the difference it makes. Priceless information really.

Beautiful colors and sharpness! I always thought cutting their own hair was a rite of passage in childhood, but it's one that neither of my kids ever did. Every other kid I've ever known has done it, though.

Oh so sweet! I remember the time I hid with the scissors when I was little. My butt remembers too... I think every kid does it at least once. My DD has. The boys haven't 9knock on wood)

YIKES! I remember the day Anna got a hold of a pair of scissors and cut chunks of her hair to just above her ears. It's still growing out. You've got to post new haircut pics. :)

These shots in the snow are really nice. I can't believe we've not really had any significant snow here. If it's going to be this cold and miserable, it could at least be pretty with white snow.
